Three Phases Of Chiropractic Care

Phase 1: Acute Care

Acute Care is care that is done to relieve your presenting symptoms and to fix underling structural problems. This is completed with the use of a treatment plan which is a set of appointments two to three times a week for about a month.

Phase 2: Active Care

Active Care is a series of care where we are working on restoring structural issues. This can include adjustments, traction, chiropractic physiotherapy, exercises and stretching. Another treatment plan will be decided on between the doctor and the patient.

Phase 3: Maintenance Care

Maintenance Care is when the doctor and the patient decide that there is little or no further progress expected. Slowly, time between visits is increased until we are at one visit a month.

At Well Adjusted Chiropractic, we are committed to giving our patients the best care we can. If at some point during you treatment, either you or the doctor feel that you are not improving as much as possible or you are improving faster than originally planned, your treatment plan will be altered to fit your needs.

Care options will be presented to you from the doctor and the amount of care that you decide to participate in is your decision.
