Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a condition where there is a secondary curvature of the spine. This condition can cause severe postural abnormalities such as a shorter leg on one side or a high shoulder in comparison to the other side. Severe forms of scoliosis can result in muscle aches and pains and functional abnormalities. Scoliosis can be acquired through trauma or can be genetically inherited. Depending on the severity and type of scoliosis, Chiropractic care may be able to help to reduce the curvature from developing further in children or help to reduce pain in adults.
